3/11/13: What is the Cold War?

The cold war is, or was, a conflict between two world super powers, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) and the United States of America. There was no actual fighting in the Cold War, just a series of threats where the world stood on the brink of nuclear war.
